Terre Haute Transit Utility
Mass transit is provided by the Terre Haute Transit Utility, a city owned bus service. Regular routes run weekdays and on Saturday. Routes are suspended on Sundays and on 10 holidays throughout the year.
Weekday routes begin at 6:00 am and run until 6:00 pm. The Transit Utility also offers bus service for ADA passengers. The service, Wheels to the World, is available during the same hours as the regularly fixed route buses. All ADA appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Senior Transportation
Area 7 Agency on Aging and Disabled offers transportation for persons over the age of 60 and to physically challenged individuals under the age of 60 (applicable to SSBG guidelines) in Vigo, Parke and Vermillion counties. For additional information on this program visit www.westcentralin.com

Amtrak provides intercity passenger rail service to more than 500 destinations in 46 states on a 22,000-mile route system. Amtrak passenger stations within 70 milesĀ of Terre Haute include Crawfordsville, Indianapolis and Lafayette in Indiana and Champaign, Danville, Effingham and Mattoon in Illinois.
