General Power Information

The Vigo County Industrial Parks I and II are served by two primary existing 138 kV transmission lines. Approximately 100 MW of 138 kV transmission capacity is available via existing infrastructure within the VCIPs I and II.

· VCIP I – The Vigo County Industrial Park I substation is served from a looped 138 kV transmission system. The primary source for this is a 13888 circuit from the Duke Energy Dresser Transmission Substation located west of Terre Haute along the Wabash River. The 13821 circuit from the Duke Energy Linton Transmission Substation is the alternate power source for the VCIP I substation. There is approximately 13 MVA available on this substation. This substation is expandable in increments of approximately 10 MW or 20 MW depending upon customer needs. Existing underground 12 kV service is located in the Park. The Shovel Ready site located within the VCIP I is within the service territory of WIN Energy (part of the Hoosier Energy electric cooperative network). WIN/Hoosier would serve the Shovel Ready site via existing Duke Energy VCIP I substation described above.

· VCIP II – The Vigo County Industrial Park II is served from another existing Duke Energy substation known as the Pfizer substation. Its primary source of power is also the nearby Duke Energy Dresser Transmission Substation with an alternate power source from the Duke Energy Linton Transmission Substation. The Pfizer Substation currently has a 22 MVA substation transformer in place with approximately 18 MVA of capacity available. This substation is also expandable. Existing 12 kV overhead lines run along the east and south boundaries of Park II.
